Meet Carson and Winter
“When Carson was diagnosed, it was a very challenging time. I wanted to let him be a kid while navigating this life-changing diagnosis. When Winter came home, it was seamless. She sleeps in Carson’s room and is a constant companion, especially through the night. She has come upstairs to alert me that he is low, and I am still amazed she can pick up the smell before we even know he is dropping. She will nudge me like, ‘Mom, I got this.’ She is my backup, my right-hand lady. Winter gives me peace of mind knowing Carson is safe. She has reduced my stress and anxiety around monitoring his blood sugar. I thought it was all for Carson, but it is also for me. She has improved our quality of life with a new sense of ease and calmness.”

These dogs are amazing and so are the people who foster from a puppy, to the trainers who select the training these service dogs are to be trained in.
